Bridging Eastern & Western Medicine
About MBR Philosophy & History
Acupuncture as Integrative Medicine
A Global Leader in Modern Acupuncture and Herbal Treatments
In 2000, Dr. Hong Ki Kim founded Mi Rae Women’s Korean Medicine clinic in Korea, with a vision of using acupuncture as an integrative approach to healthcare. Over time, the clinic expanded and evolved into the MBR Acupuncture & Herb franchise, which now operates 15 clinics in Korea and 6 clinics in the USA.
MBR stands for “12 Meridian Balance Restoration” and is the brand name of the MOMBARO Korean Medicine Network Group in the United States. At MBR, we believe that chronic symptoms often stem from imbalances in the body’s meridians and structure. Therefore, we specialize in diagnosing and treating these underlying issues to restore balance to the 12 meridians and promote overall well-being.
Our team of highly skilled practitioners are all MBR-certified acupuncturists who have completed a rigorous 200-hour MBR training program. We are committed to providing innovative and effective treatments to patients worldwide.
Our Goal
Evidence-based Acupuncture
At MBR Acupuncture, our goal is to demystify the complex world of oriental medicine. We use scientifically proven data to precisely identify and treat the root cause of our patients’ symptoms.
Our treatment plans are individualized for each patient, and MBR providers regularly perform physical tests to monitor patients’ progress.
